Oh goodie,I can be first in.

The mailman delivered this morning an order I placed with ABC Stitch-charts that were on sale and I could not resist.Also I was spending money that came as a refund.So no guilt!!

The picture doesn't do it justice. The colors are beautiful and soft, and it has sparkles. It's a 32 count Monaco.

Just after Christmas I purchased the DMC color card - the one with actual samples of floss - and it came Saturday. I would love to post gorgeous high quality photos of it, but my mother-in-law borrowed it! I'd be mad if she wasn't one of my favorite people...

I have one of those and it is fabulous! I also have the other one, with the printed colors, but having the actual floss samples is so handy! I didn't know they still made them.

Yes they are brilliant! I have one which. Picked up on eBay a few years ago, trouble is its not got a lot of the new colours, I keep thinking I should make my own one with the new and changed colours....

That's a great idea. I think it would be easy enough to just do it on some nice cardstock, only doing the new/changed ones.

Anne, my 4 year old saw all the skeins and she got so excited! She loves to bobbinate and organize floss. ("Tell her I want to do it for her!" she shouted...)

When I get it back - hopefully this weekend - I'll have to look and see when it was printed. All I know is it had to come from the UK.

OK I thought I had better post this on here as well as the Round In Circles thread - my recent additions to the already growing stash of threads.

On the right us a bunch of DMC mostly variegated Perle cottons bought a couple of weeks ago . On the left is some beautiful silk threads plus a Cottage Garen #8 perle some threads from EdMar plus a variegated one from Threadworx
The fabric piece are to finish off the sides of the hexagon quilt - finally.
