I have continued working on Luz, but yesterday was my last day before swapping over to Gryff, and I thought I'd show the progress. I put in possibly 4 or 500 stitches on her shoulder yesterday, working or areas with surprising quantities of the same colour. Up to 900 stitches of the same blend, so it goes quite quickly despite the dithering.
This is the chart image:
This is the actual progress:
As you can see, I have made progress - and I can feel my hand and elbow today. I suppose hedge trimming (which I've been doing) with a chainsaw & shredder turning 100ft of a 15ft high hedge into a 6ft high one will do that too!
Hope you like it..
Regards,
Richard

I think you're right about the hedge trimming being the trouble - surely it can't be the stitching
Lovely to see the progress on this, I love the detail in your projects and the subtle shading.

Just come in from holding the ladder steady so that D/H can reach the top of the hedge which decided, unnoticed, to head up into a tree! In several places!! So we know all about stiff necks and shoulders!
The progress on this detailed design is amazing! Well done!

A great progress, Richard. The detail is incredible. And yes, one can tell you enjoy stitching this design, because with all those shades actually of sepia, all the detail and the size- it's either you love it or bin it. Your stitchings are amazing, so as always, I am looking forward to new updates. Happy stitching!

Thank you all. I do enjoy doing it and really like the image. However it's nice to get back working on Gryff again.

Richard.
