I just finished the stitching on this L*K design. It's a gift for a young lady graduating college in June (the best friend of the girl getting Tinkerbell for her grad gift).
I worked on this one mostly in the mornings before work, but I really wanted to finish it by tonight so it was my focus last night and this evening.

Nice fabric choice, I really like how it looks like fluffy white clouds on a clear blue sky. How are you planning to finish it?

That's really nice, and quite a reasonable set of suggestions for a graduate. Especially the "silly" bit, IMHO: too much serious undercuts creativity, and heaven knows the world needs a LOT of creative thinking just now.

That is a great gift for a graduate. I agree with Serinde about the "Being Silly" as it is something new grads can easily forget. Lizzie Kate designs make wonderful gifts. I think I have given more of them away than any other designer. And they are fun to stitch too!

It was a super fun stitch, you all are right - the words are very wise. Dipali (the recipient) likes blue, so that's the reason I chose it. I'm going to finish it in a box lid. The box is one of the Sudberry cherry wood boxes - I think it'll look really nice.
L*K designs are always a winner in my mind!

I finished another part of Bothy Threads Dictionary of Technology - I love stitching this and each part is a little finish.

I finally ironed this one and framed it in the box top. It goes to California with me tomorrow.
