Sina, don't feel bad. Like you I bought one or 2 Chinese copies when I first started & did not know about copyright issues. Bought them in case I did not like x st as much as I thought I would - did not want to spend a large amount & find I did not really enjoy this hobby. But now I know about copyright rules, I do as you do, I make sure nothing is a copy. Most of my kits are Dimensions & the proper sort even if I have bought them on EBay or other websites

I do have one copy kit at the moment, & that is the only one, as earlier this year my young grandchildren bought me a geisha kit for my birthday, they all saved their pocket money & I do not have the heart to get rid of it. I think it may be the one which has been written about on here. I have Elegance of Orient & this copy one would go with it. It would upset them if they knew I did not like it because it breaks legal rules. the 2 youngest are too small to understand these things as they bought it & as it is not stolen, that is as much as they know about rules at the moment.

I do hope you will put your new Christmas kit on here when you get it, would love to see it :)

Cute as always Nicola. Look forward to seeing it once you start it.

Decided I cannot upset DB & SIL so will stitch their geisha sometime. After Christmas I am going to ask family not to buy me any more kits as I have enough. That way I can't upset anyone's feelings & I do actually have enough to be getting on with for next 10 years!!

You've got a little menagerie with your kits Nicola  They are really cute though & hard to resist. Look forward to next updates :D

I feel you Nicola on the subject of too many patterns. I've decided no more patterns until I complete the present patterns. I've started about 7 projects, I need to finish them.

This is so heartwarming. How lovely of your grandchildren! They must have been excited when they gave the kit to you.

thank you all. Yes Poppy they were excited when they came. Youngest,4, added that Father Christmas was still going to bring me other presents on Christmas Day. She finds it hard to keep secrets but knows if she tells, Father Christmas won't leave her any presents! Lovely to see children looking forward to Christmas isn't it? So much joy in their young faces, it gladdens your heart
