Oh yes, lots and lots of backstitching will be done along with french knots and a couple of other specialty stitches!!

It's been a while since I have worked on this one and just got around recently to doing some more stitching on her. I had to move the qsnaps so I took the advantage and took a picture of my progress. Getting real close now

Oh my gosh, she's so sweet!!

At long last she is finished!! I left off the top part of the background just didn't seem to need it with the fabric I used. Backstitching and specialty stitches took a bit of doing but I struggle through and I am glad that I did!! Thanks for all of the encouragement!!!

You have done a great job. I cant help admiring your backstitch - it makes the kid so real- arms, hair, eyebrows, and especially eyelashes- it is always so difficult not to overdo- a millimetre makes a difference. You coped with the task perfectly well.

She is beautiful! The backstitch makes a difference to her hair too. You must be so pleased with her

Oh Karen she is magnificent and oh so lovely and lovingly stitched. I hope you are proud of your work on her. The fabric also sets it off and a good choice to not do any stitching there on the left.

I do like the highlighting backstitch you've done on the hair, helps definition & looks very good.
