Frogs

Post by agi »

I was at the zoo yesterday, and I saw some really wonderful frogs. I know, I know... :ribbit: , but look:

this is absolutely stunning blue, unfortunately the picture is not very good, because of the glass - hubby said he couldn't focus the camera. But you can see the colour at least.

Image

This one is, if I remember well, called Suriname Toad. It was floating on the surface of the water, and didn't move.

Image

But please, be assured, they are all behind thick glass, closed up tightly - no way can they escape and pester you!

I think that bright blue one probably only attacks rayons and metallics :-)

Wow! Look at them! They are both good pics as I can imagine you had to zoom in quite a way.

The blue one is cute but the 2nd one freaked me out. Thought it was actually jumping until I read it was floating. Also looks huge. Me not likey!!! :?

Wow, the blue one is really stunning! I have a huge grudge against all things frog-shaped (long story from childhood, it involves a pond which I ended up in, all a frog's fault) but I'd be willing to put it aside for that one!

That blue one is amazing!!!! He's wonderful! But look! He pestered someone with a blue highlighter pen and that's why he's such a vivid colour!

It makes a nice change from the frog I saw the other day...I saw froggy guts outside froggy body T_T

Well, I've always kind of thought that frogs aren't so terrible all the time. That blue one is absolutely amazing and when sitting out at my Dad and Step Mother's the little tree frogs are so sweet and their peeps are so soothing.

I'm kinda particular about my froggies though :( I dont really like cartoon-ish frogs, i like real looking frogs, like that blue one!! The red eyed tree frog is my absolute favorite, i even got a tattoo of them! It's pretty big, spans across my whole lower 1/3rd of my back, here's a bad quality picture of it i took a couple years ago.

Image

this one was my very first one, i never have taken a very good picture of it, its on my left hip bone.

cartoons are cute yes! but not for my froggy fixation :) People always seem to get me cartoonish frogs and i end up giving it away to charity places because i dont like cartoon frogs for my house. I like the red eyed tree frogs the best, but that blue one on the first page, poison dart frog i'm guessing, is absolutely gorgeous :)
