Uggghhhh! I’ve been bad!

Post by quirkyk »

Ok...so I've been miserable and hopped on here to brighten my day...which worked...I ran across the post about needing the tea cup which made me think of a HAED chart I wanted...well I posted the link and in so doing found out they were having a sale!!!!! So what did I do...but go and buy...not 1, not 2, but 3 more charts!! HELLO I have one HUGE HAED that I'm just getting started on, and several other pieces...can we say soooo not what I needed to go and do! I have to show ya what I got while I'm here but do any of you know a way to curb the never ending additions to the stash :?: :?:

Anyway...here is what I got...anyone else get anything lately that you know you aren't going to get started on in ohh...umm forever!!

Ooh, not bad, good! Those designs are lovely :applesauce:

And as for buying something you know you won't finish - I've got about six unopened projects waiting....

actually probably the Tea cup one since it is the smallest....yes I know that is a joke with HAED patterns but of the three it is the smallest at about 13" by 13" :)

Lovely designs -- I especially like the Hansel & Gretel one! Do you have a deadline for stitching them...? :-)

deadline! are you NUTS!!!!! no WAY!!! they are all just I loved the patterns so more for me than anyone! and to boot I know better than to try and give myself a deadline when it comes to my crafts! I'd hate what I was working on if I weren't careful! I think that is part of my stash problem! I love variety and get bored quickly so I change it up a lot! I have the three I'm working on now...and figure two of the three will be done in a reasonable amount of time so maybe I'll get to start one of these as my other project while doing the Merlin piece...but not sure about that...we'll have to see!

Wahey you go and for the record there is no way to curb a stash craving except by buying stash!! I keep all the charts from my magazines I want to do and have literally a couple of hundred!!!

I love HAED not quite brave enough to buy one yet but got my mum interested in them too!

Ha ha quirkyk

I did EXACTLY the same thing - but with Mystic Stitch charts. Bought four, all divine, but as they'll each take about a decade to complete, chances are I'll never get thru them.

Still, I quite enjoy just looking thru the charts, imagining that I might do them one day. Ha ha - they're "Stitching Porn" ( :!: )

Ohh noooess, more stash. Such a shame :P

All of them designs are amazing, but I especially love the dragon one!

And no stitcher should ever feel guilty when buying stash or anything cross stitch related!

LOL!! well you all have managed to make me feel like I wasn't bad...just a little obsessed :):) And stitching porn! That is GREAT!!!!!! Talk about a great giggle this morning!!! And yeah I got the dragon and the tea cup in PDF so I have them...but I could hardly believe it! The dragon is even bigger than Merlin!!!! I got them all in the large format...and Merlin has 50 pages of pattern while the dragon has 77 Image The tea cup isn't so bad so may have to start that one! Can't wait to get the Hansel and Gretal one in the mail to see how large it is! I just got notification this morning that it was shipped sooo I'll be so not patiently waiting! And it is almost Friday!!! That means stitch time!!!! At least more than a five min. stint during the week!

You know I really wish you hadn't brought up the sale on HAED stuff. I have 8 charts on my Wish List because I can't decide which one I want to try first. Now that's there's a sale on I could get all of them and then decide. Hmmm.......
