Your needle must be white hot Lyudmila, those 2 posies of flowers are totally amazing and oh so gorgeous. I love the Poinsettia one especially. Beautifully stitched and the colours are fabulous.

Thank you for your kind support. It really is quite a piece of work. Not so much the seasons themselves as the background and the "frames" around each picture. When finished the bag will be equal A 4 paper sheet and will be 5 cm "thick"if this word means here what I am trying to tell.
Beautiful stitching on a beautiful design! Congratulations!!

As you must have guessed, I am quiet because I am finishing the Spring for my GD's bag. But I cant decide on the background colour. Black would be ideal, I think. But when washed (and it will be washed a lot) a dozen times, black threads may look greyish. Correct?
So I am asking for your help and will be really grateful for any ideas.
That is a hard one to work out Lyudmila. Perhaps a soft blue to represent the sky or maybe a pale fawn to grey to represent the soil or a goldy brown for a table top. Even a pale soft green would work ok. Ifind blues and greens work pretty well with almost everything.
Sorry I can't be specific but there is such a variety of main colours it is hard to chose.. Good luck with it.

"Glorious" is the word that came into my head as soon as I saw your Summer, Lyudmila. It is also perfectly stitched as always.
