Thanks, Richard. I’m very happy with how GK Cat in a Window has turned out and am happy to pay more (within reason) for a good conversion so I might have a look at the GK version of Stitchers Retreat. I must admit I was a bit suspicious as to why such a lovely - and big! - design was a freebie on HAED. Makes me a bit nervous about investing my time in it. If I remember correctly, Vanessa’s Madeleine After Prayer was a GK and that was stunning too.
Sew many patterns, sew little time!

Despite all the negative feedback on this chart I am still really pleased with it. I can see what you mean about the lack of detail Richard but I still really love this chart. There’s something about it that I am just drawn to. I think it is the warming glow of his lantern.
Hopefully you would still like to see my progress.

That is looking awesome Vanessa and I love the detail starting to show up on the left there. It's gorgeous and as always, beautifully stitched.

Very well done, Vanessa. :applesauce: Your stitching fairies(elves?) are working really fast. I like seeing your updates. This particular picture is so large, that when I see your progress I always think that to compete with you, I would have not to eat and not to sleep, just to stitch. But then even then I would get distracted from time to time, so would lose anyway.

Always looking forward to your further updates. Happy stitching!

The light is amazing. You are stitching so quickly, Vanessa. May I ask how long do you stitch every day? This is a wonderful project. :)
