lovely look on your website!
Shame I don't live in your part of the world I'd join your group.

I am not in a group here in NZ most people I know are not into crafts at all. When I ask if they have any hobbies they stare at me with a blank look on their face to say "who has time to have a hobby?"

Their loss I say!!!

Well done, Angel. Pity you can't have a wifi link to the forum, so that we can all be virtual members...

Great name, great website :-) -- and yes I do remember the stitching angels in Cross Stitch Crazy; they stood in "Charlie's Angels" poses but instead of weapons they held I think a hoop, a tape measure and something else (scissors?).
Good luck Angel -- and I think at 50p each they'll be flocking to your door!

Hey hey!! Well done Angel, that's great news about the venue.

Keep up with the advertising and promotion: a line from an old Kevin Costner film, "Field of Dreams" comes to mind, which is a favourite of mine,
"If you build it, they will come". Seems appropriate here!!

Good luck, honey. Keep us posted.

I have advertised on sheffield forum, now I just need to make posters...but I have no ink for my printer!!! *Looks upset* And only one person has replied on sheffield forum. SO I don't think we'll be meeting this thursday, but wish me luck. I have to get people to come! I need the company.

Hehe you know...it is entirely feasable to have a virtual stitching group. All the stitchers need buy is a webcam and microphone. Then everyone hooks up at the same time in a webcam chat room and we can all see and hear each other :P

Congratulations Angel and best wishes! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: I wish I could be there (in person, of course) to help you kick it off. I'm sure you will have great success. You may very well make some lonely stitcher who thinks she is all alone very happy. You've earned your wings.
