Re: Nicola stitches Wrendale Designs
Thank you everyone for your kind comments! It is very hard to resist the charms of the Wrendale animals and birds! They may only be stitches but each one has their own character hence the reason I have a stash of nearly twenty of them!

Understandable. When I first started stitching HAEDs I was addicted. I won't even say how many charts I have waiting on my computer (enough to keep me going for at least 100 years, I think). The only real advantage vs your Wrendales is that they are easier to store. 20 kits requires a bit more space I think it would not be hard at all to become addicted to these wonderful designs. They are so unique and fun. And I'm so glad to be able to watch them develop!

Excellent finished pig project, it is so appealing. I love it. And I am looking forward to seeing more of the bunny as well as all the other creatures you have waiting to be stitched. Just brilliant

Re: Nicola stitches Wrendale Designs
I'm sorry, that was a very UK-centric remark - it refers to the amount of fruit and vegetables you are advised to eat, and both the number and the expression vary from country to country. In the UK we are encouraged to eat Five A Day, meaning five portions of vegetables and/or fruit. In the Netherlands they exhort people to eat from the "Disc of Five", to eat a varied diet from five food groups, and to eat "2 pieces of fruit and 200 grammes of vegetables". In France I think it's Seven a Day (Wendy, do you know?), but they are allowed to count potatoes which don't count under the UK guidelines (to stop people from counting portions of chips as vegetables, I think )
So all it meant was "now for the vegetables!"
PS At a stitching group I attend one lady quite seriously asked, when telling us she'd found out potatoes don't count, whether noodles would...

Thank you very much for your kind and interesting explanation, Mabel. And yes, noodles do count if they grow on trees.

Re: Nicola stitches Wrendale Designs
You mean there are easier(and quicker) Wrendale designs to stitch? Lead me to them.
That finish of his body was super fast Nicola and well done on it. Hopefully you have a goodly supply of needles to dash through the vegetables he needs to keep himself going. A SUPER FAST and WONDERFUL finish to this part of the finished picture.
Thanks for the chuckle ladies about the "5 a day" which is the mantra down under too.
