Hello,
I am Maddie, live in the UK & although I have done crafts most of my life I did not do cross stitch until a few years ago. Now I am really hooked on it. I do whatever appeals to me but like colourful projects. But must add the dark ones on here are tremendous, so beautifully worked.
Love going round charity shops to see what I can find. Most times nothing but occasionally find something really good. My latest find was a crewel work on a frame. A 1999 Jacobean design bell pull & also with it a very small kit of acorns & leaves with gold thread to be worked up the stems. I have seen the lady on here working with gold & that is astounding work -mine will not be that good of course as I have not done any crewel work for many years. I don't know when I will get round to doing that but am glad I found it.
At present kitting up 3 charts I want to do in future.
Thank you.
Maddie
