So sorry that you had the allergic reaction to resin, how very unfortunate! :? Hopefully a new resin will soon be available for you to use and won't cause such a bad reaction to you

It was very frustrating, but I had to stop. If I needed to do some sanding on the resin, I'd have made my workshop a no-go zone until I could clean it to clean-room standards. I was getting to the point where touching metal that the resin had also touched was causing a reaction. I was getting just too sensitive to it for peace of mind.

It is amusing to see the baffled reactions in hospital when they ask if I'm allergic to anything, and then the answer does not compute for them. I think next time I will need to take an item made from it with me, in a sealed clear plastic box.
