Hello Lovelies,

Thank you ever so uch for all your kind replies.

I've been ever so tardy at updating this thread. This is the latest update I have, I've stitched more stitched but don't have a photo yet.

Mr. Owl now has lethal claws.

Hello Lovelies,

Thank you for the kind replies.

Here is the latest update, I am really enjoying stitching this one and I love the contrast between the sepia images around the outside to the colourful Owl. There will be another sepia image on the right and three more along the bottom.

Hello Lovelies, here is what I've been working on whilst our lovely forum was down.

I finished Tales from the Wood

Image
I am so pleased with this one although I am still trying to find the perfect frame.

I'm calling this one Delft Daffodil

Image
There are three more flowers to stitch in the series but I will only be stitching the Bluebells after my current project.

I stitched a Blackwork Map of Wales

Image
As you can see it's in red, DMC 816 for the border and 815 for the infill.

This is my current project

This will read Every Day May Not Be Good But There Is Some Good In Every Day, from Emma COngdon's book Cross Stitch for the Soul.

WoW!
I absolutely  your Redwork Wales! A real Masterpiece. :whoop: :applesauce: :king:
Delft Daffodil is lovely too. :applesauce:

BTW thank you again for sending me the Tales of the Wood pattern. I'm in the process of collecting threads for it. I have most in my stash but am missing a small handful. Fabric is also needed. Where did you get a piece for yours? I've found several suppliers but it's the size needed which is more challenging.

Hi Wendy, thanks ever so much for your lovely comments, I got the fabric at Lakeside Needlecraft, I popped over and had a look and they seem to have smaller sizes now than the one I bought, however if you contact them they may be able to cut a larger piece for you. It's worth a try.

Wow :applesauce:

The tales from the Wood looks even more desirable now it is finished.

And the other three are just as nice. They strike me as nice relaxing pieces to make (which don't take too much concentration ) :)

Tales from the Woods is magnificent. Hope you find a frame that you think will suit it. Are you looking for something specific? And the map of Wales is stunning. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Oh my gosh, Tales from the Wood is absolutely beautiful! Actually, all of them are. The blackwork Wales is impressive. I really enjoy blackwork but haven't done much lately.
