Cross stitch books for postage only

Having recently added some books to my collection I'm afraid some others will have to go! These are looking for a good home, and I'm happy to send them anywhere for the postage. Within the UK the three books would be £3 each to send, the booklet much less. I haven't checked for abroad but if anyone is interested I'll find out.

Book 1: Cross Stitch Calligraphy GONE
Book 2: Exquisite Miniatures GONE
Book 3: Alphabets and Samplers
Booklet: Bead Alphabet (can also be worked in cross stitch)

Book 3:

I would be interested in postage to Colorado. :-)

Ouch

I checked Royal Mail and it's pretty eyewatering for the books I'm afraid, because although their size is "Large letter" their weight is "Small Parcel" which is much more expensive (£13.80)
The only cheaper option is to send it Economy, which takes up to 42 days (I think it goes by boat) and is still £8.85
The booklet (the bead alphabet) isn't too bad, that's £3.95

If you're interested in more than one book, I found I can send two plus the booklet for £12.05 Economy. All three would tip it over in to Standard Parcel which is too expensive to consider.

Yeah, that’s pricey...figured it would be. I was mainly interested in the calligraphy and bead alphabet books.

I'll check if those two together are under 1 kg; in that case they could go together for £8.85 - but I quite understand if that's still too much!

Yes, one book plus booklet to the US would go together for £8.85 Economy

If the Cross Stitch Calligraphy book needs a home... I have shelf space!

If Debby doesn't want it at Royal Mail's extortionate postage, it's yours!

I'm happy for Debby to have first dibs. :D

Have you checked sending it surface mail? Ah, yes, I see you have; "Economy" is it now, eh?

I will concede to Serinde. It’s not as though I have a planned use for it. Enjoy.🙂🙂

Right-oh, I'll pop the book in the post to Serinde tomorrow. Just the one, or do you want to combine?

Calligraphy book has arrived, and it's very interesting. I'm sure I'll be able to make use of it -- plus all her alphabets have composers' names! What's not to like?

One book and one booklet left, if no-one claims them by the weekend they'll go to the charity shop!
(I'm also putting them on my FB page so when they're gone they're gone)
