Post by Wise Owl »

And my work I progress is the stitch-a-long (good practice for me with using beads and such before I tackle another project)

Whichever one makes your heart sing when you look at it. I find that there's usually one that shout's loudest "Stitch me, me me me!"

Indeed, I find the same thing. One project just says 'my turn'. :D

The one that hollers the loudest is the one that gets attention. Mine usually shout "me me me" and that is the one that wins. Usually several are "active" and the rest are waiting patiently in different stages of progress.

Great stitching and as for your next project the koi fish sound appealing to me but you should choose whichever one you feel like :D

Hahaaa, thanks everyone.
So when the kits start speaking to me, I’ll know I've hit the point of no return!

And Vanessanfj, funny you said Koi fish! I got it all out, but I’d like to have a frame to stitch in. So I’ve started the Great wave one for now. But for sure I will really enjoy the koi fish one very soon!

I told myself I would only move on to another when I’ve finished my current one...I can see that going out the window :ribbit:

Thank you everyone for the kind comments. This is taking me longer than I thought because of the individual stitches

And yes it’s so colourful, it’s put me in the Christmas mood 🎄

Started working on a Christmas gift for the newest member of family - sister in law had a baby girl. During this pandemic I’ve only met her once 😞

Ooohh, this is going to be a very special gift.

I agree with Serinde, new arrivals are always joyous and life - enhancing.

The colours are lovely, such soft pastels, beautiful, and you are stitching it beautifully too.

:applesauce: :applesauce: What a lovely gift this will be! And I love the colors.
I have a grand nephew who is nearly 5 months old and while there has been a lot of Face Time, I have yet to meet him. The pandemic gets in the way of a lot of things for sure.
