Thank you all!

I've made a start on the Nasturtium Posy. The yellows, oranges and reds go really well with my parents living room colours so going to do it for my Mum for her birthday (which is July). Not used to stitching on evenweave so when counting I need to keep remembering to count 2 holes over instead of just 1.

Nasturtiums are so colourful. What a lucky Mum you have...she will love that posy!
The Evenweave will get easier as you stitch and worth the trouble as it gives a finer look to the background.

Shh, can you keep it secret, we won't tell!

After a while you will find the counting over 2 easier. If you remember, I complained about the "over 2" when doing the elephant sampler for my grandson's soon to be born baby. I usually stitch on evenweave, but mostly 1 over 1 and still took a while to get my eyes to focus on 2 squares rather than 1. This is going to be an absolutely stunning gift. We can keep it a secret too, as long as you keep providing beautiful updates.

First Nasturtium flower is now finished! Loving stitching on the evenweave and the colours are much better in real life than on the front picture on the kit.

Goodness, that's bright and cheery. Your stitching is lovely as usual, and it's so interesting to see the design from a distance, too.

Just a quick update as have finished the second flower now. Not done as much as I would have liked due to work and other distractions.
