Imogen's 2021 Projects

I was locked out of my PostImage account, so I have some late holiday pieces to share.
I think this is literally the cutest thing I've ever stitched, and I'm now obsessed with this designer: Anna Gutova. She posts free patterns in her Facebook group "Cross Stitch Patterns by Anna Gutova" as well as selling on Etsy under the shop ArtmishkaCrossStitch.
This is on 14ct perforated paper with 3 strands DMC, and finished as a simple ornament with felt backing.
And this is Queen Anne House, a Mill Hill Buttons & Beads kit in the Christmas Village Winter series. The pattern called for isolated white stitches along the border and for some falling snow. I stitched on the kit's perforated paper, so pinstitch wasn't an option, and you could see the white thread through the empty holes! That really bothered me, so I left off the snow and added the jewerly/garlands along the borders instead.
