I started this a few days ago as a gift for my kids (son and daughter-in-law). I’m hoping to get it finished and to the framer in the next week so I can (fingers crossed) get it back before Christmas. The chart came from Etsy and it reads:

An endless sleepover

I finished this one a couple nights ago and forgot to share. I’m in Cheyenne now but whenI get home I have to iron it and get it to Hobby Lobby for framing.

I love that!! My grandson is planning to get married in October and I am so tempted (I'll let y'all make any assumptions you want to) to do that or something similar for the wedding sampler. And I'm not sure which is the weirdo. Loveable weirdos. Very lovable, but weirdos just the same

You should definitely do it. It was a super fast stitch and you could do it in their wedding colors if you wanted. Since my kids have been married 16 years, I just used fabric and fibers I had on hand. It took awhile to come up with a combination I liked and am pleased with the final product. I took it to Hobby Lobby for framing today.

I finished this little guy (Santa Paws, Mill Hill) last week. It’s meant to be a magnet but I made it into an ornament.

Image

And Sunday morning (while waiting for the F1 race to start), I got all of these ready to go. The three “2020” ornaments are framed in canning jar lids (thanks to answers to my plea for help lol) and are on their way to my sister in Oregon. The cross country snowman was supposed to be a bell pull for my son and d-i-l but I decided to make him into a card instead (still for them) and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

What a fabulous array of your beautiful work. Love the 3 lid inserts, very clever to get them fitted. You have done so well with them all. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

They are all wonderful.

How did you decide to finish the canning lid ornaments?
