fccs’s Things Unseen - framed July 2021

I started Lizzie*Kate’s Things Unseen on May 1st. I’m stitching it with a friend, so hopefully that will keep me focused. It’s going to be for another friend who asked me to make something for their “weekend get-away” condo in Temecula, CA.



This is where I stopped last night. I’m stitching it with the called for Weeks Dye Works fibers and it’s on 28 count jobelan Queen Anne’s Lace. (This is one of my main go-to fabrics. It’s an absolute joy to stitch on and it goes with just about any design. I think this is my last piece so it’s time to order more.)

That's a lovely fabric for the piece, and as you say so versatile - and you've made a great start, this will be such a treasure in their condo!

That is going to be really fabulous and I love the fabric. Its ages since I stitched on eveweave - hopefully one day I will get back to it.

Here’s my progress as of tonight. I’m really enjoying this one. After the hand charted Cheyenne, with all the fractionals and back stitching, this is pure joy to stitch.

I know that fractional stitches add a depth to a piece, and it's always great when it's finished....BUT I can well understand your delight in Whole Stitches again!

Another update. Today was snowy/rainy, and a perfect day to stay in, ignore chores and errands, and just stitch.
