Podolyanka's Stitchings 2022

Post by Podolyanka »

I have two WIPs on the go in the New Year: Janlynn's "Sportsman's Dream" and another Easter towel(working name "Garland with Eggs"). Will take photos when the WIPs are big enough to boast of.

This is supposed to look like this by the next Monday:

The colours from Daughter's phone(the photo of the basket covered with the towel) look better than from mine, even though they are the same in reality.

What, less than a week??? That's quite a task - but it is a beautiful design to work on!

:applesauce: :applesauce: Great start! and wow: finish by Monday? If it were me and probably most anyone else, being able to finish by Monday might seem impossible. You are probably the only stitcher I know who is capable of doing this.

Carole, I did some arythmetics and it shows I cant finish this towel by Monday. I need at least 6 full days, so 4 days that are left wont be enough. But I am pressing on just in case.

It's looking great! I admire your ability to stitch for such long stretches of time, I simply don't have the stamina

I can almost see myself thinking I'll set the alarm for 4am. Then either keep hitting the snooze button or waking up and thinking I must have been out of mind and turning it off and going back to sleep. It's beautiful and I am very impressed!

Does 4am exist???
Not in this house it doesn't! @rotfl: @rotfl:

However Lyudmila, your stitching start of the year is so bright and cheerful I can why you would want to get an early start. 8)

Mabel, I cant stitch from 4am on a daily basis, simply today sleeplessness coinsided with the need to stitch fast. I am already well into the second half, so fingers crossed, dont need to hurry and panic.
Last night Son ordered at 123Stitch.com two samplers for me- both from Janlynn(this old love for their designs cant be cured)- "Coffee and Tea" and "Honey". I must be crasy to want a sampler for years just because of all those honey colours. In Ukraine one cant give a birthday present in advance, so we consider those samplers Christmas presents which Santa sent after Christmas when postal services are not overwhelmed. :)

Postimage.com does not work for me tonight, so you are to take my word for it instead of a photo. I did finish the towel and am edging the 3rd side of it!
