(Quite what the use of Pom-poms is in American Football, I have no idea. However, they seem to feature in every event that includes American Football I've seen on the TV.)

(Richard, I can’t figure out why pro football needs cheerleaders - scantily clad young women for a primarily male audience. Oh wait, never mind.)

(Debby, the UK more violent [possibly - https://www.therugbypaper.co.uk/rugby-p ... dangerous/], un-armoured, version of 'American Football' is 'Rugby', and both pom-poms and cheerleaders are noticeable by their total absence. TBH I can never remember seeing any even in the un-reformed 1970's. I do find it strange that they feature in the US, a country which tends to lead the UK by some margin in social change.)

(Friends have told me of the finger slicing danger of mandolins. I've never used one.)

(Most Mandolines come with a vegetable/item pusher: My Matfer 44595 didn't it was a separate purchase as were the various blade sets. It is a joy to use if treated with the respect it deserves)
