I must admit I don't sleep much. On week days I get up at 6am and have 90 minutes before I have to leave for work.

So - my 90 minutes goes like this.

Coffee and check emails.

Run round block with dog.

Feed fish (4 aquariums), feed dog, feed self, make packed lunches.

Dive in the shower.

Cram in 30 minutes' cross stitching.

Go to work. (Sometimes I get to stitch at work if no one's in).

Then the evening.........

5pm - arrive home (I finish work at 4.30).

Cook tea, eat tea, watch Neighbours.

Walk the dog.

Feed the dog and the fish.

Work out for 45 minutes (Simon and I are on this fitness regime where we do Monday - Thursday work out and then 3 days chill. We do crunches, obliques, lunges, squat thrusts, press ups, hand weights and skipping).

Feed Simon (he gets home at 5.45 and prefers to eat later after the workout).

Cross stitch for about 3 hours while Simon works on the computers.

Go to bed around 10 - 10.30).

I wish there were more hours in the day!!!

After all that - the end is in sight on this project. I didn't take a photo last night as you can't really see the difference unless you look hard. I started systematically going through every colour one at a time and completing the odd full cross stitches in each one. I have three colours left to go on that. Then I'm going to do the same thing tonight with the half crosses. Then all that is left is yards of backstitch and some french knots. Hopefully this will get finished over the weekend.

Wonderful work, Sarah. Reading your timetable makes me feel tired. I'll have to go and have a little nap!

Here's the latest update - I've finished all the whole and three-quarter cross stitches now. WOO HOO! Not far to go. There are about three colours where I have some half crosses left to fill in for the background and then it's just backstitch. Hopefully I'll get it finished over the weekend.

Well, this is the picture I took after Saturday's efforts. I did LOADS of backstitch and some french knots. I still have to backstitch around the sun and do odd french knots for stars scattered here and there, but that's all. I put it away for Sunday to do my 12 Days of Christmas sampler, but I'll finish it over the next day or two.

Thanks, I'm very pleased with the result. I'm taking it to work today and if I get half an hour free in the afternoon I'll try and get the sun backstitched. The end is in sight!

Unfortunately I didn't get much time at work yesterday to do any of this - I managed to backstitch the sun and moon's eyes and mouths, but that was all so it wasn't worth me taking a photo. Monday is always busy for me at work though. Then last night at home I was busy working out, walking the dog, cooking tea and then since I got my goodies from Katzxstitch I started stitching my ATC.

Anyway, I'm determined I will get this finished tonight if I can't do it at work. I'm keen to post my last "finished" photo and then put it away and concentrate on the Christmas sampler and start a smaller project alongside to do at work.
