I really got into a groove with Tabatha's so I got alot more done on hers. I've not worked as much on Nick's but will eventually. It's just that once I get into a groove on something I want to keep it going so I get more done. I'm not going to put them together until they are both done though.

Here's Nick's now.

Here's Taby's now.

Great work on both. I find I have the same problem as you when I try to have more then one going at a time. That is why I try to stick with a single project and get it finished before I go on to the next one. " One at a time sure and steady"

I've never really had two going at once with intentions on getting them both done at about the same time. I've always had one I was working on and a second one to do if I get bored with the first one. Then when I'm done with the first I finish the second one before starting a new one.

I love that too. It makes the trees part of the scene but also puts them in the background to where they aren't part of the main focus of the stocking. There is another tree on the other side of the stocking and some bushes on the bottom of the stocking that are done the same way.

These are great! Your kids will love them. I have a couple of kits too for my kids, but I haven't got around to doing them yet. Maybe these will inspire me ... ?

Here is where I am as of tonight. I finished a small part of the sky and started on Santa's coat today. Where I stopped at the bottom of the coat is where his belt is and where the sky ends is the mountains and a deer. This weekend is Taby's birthday (it's on Sunday) so I probably won't be able to work on it alot.

Seeing your progress pics really gives me inspiration to have a go at this myself too...

(although I'd have three to do, plus other projects already in progress, so maybe not for this Xmas)

Thanks! I started these because I thought it would look nice, and it is something my kids will have for years that I made them. The CARS projects and the Disney Princess project they will grow out of but these they won't.

I've got at least 10 other projects I want to do. But I am making myself do these before I start to do those.

I bet they would love that! Nick and Taby seems to really like it when I do something for them. Nick couldn't wait for Mater and McQueen to be done and Taby continuously looks at the stocking and made me hang back up two really small ones I did for her that she had taken down.

Thanks! She turns 3 tomorrow. She'll no longer be a toddler. But the good thing is, now she's potty trained so no more diapers. :D We are headed to Chuck E Cheese with my mother-in-law to celebrate BOTH of my kids's birthdays tomorrow. (Nick's is on the 17th.) Next weekend my Mom, stepfather, little brother and (maybe) little brother's girlfriend and thier baby (right now she and the baby are in AZ) are all headed down for a family party for them. So I'm going to be busy for this weekend and the next two.
