FINISHED!! - The little Mermaid
Hi just can't help myself. I've started another cross stitch without finishing the other!
She is going to be about 33cm x 22cm
very large its to fit a frame I already have. For my daughter.

This would be lovely!
Re: Stitching - The little Mermaid
I this! Where did you find the pattern? I've been looking for something similar for my daughter. My hubby did one of Ariel's face for her birthday, but I know she would love something like this. I'll be watching this one closely!! I'm sure when my daughter sees it, she'll ask for it.

Re: Stitching - The little Mermaid
I think this is going to be fantastic. Is this a computer genertated one??? Cant wait to see this progress.
Try get some stickers and stick them on her potty. Or if its the normal toilet find some that remove from the walls and stick them somewhere for her to see them. Just an idea.Krissy wrote:I'd like to know where you got it too!! Taby loves the princesses but Ariel is her favorite!! I even bought her Ariel panties to help with potty training. lol. Re: Stitching - The little Mermaid
Lovely picture, and im sure it will be a great cross stitch too I'm guessing also that its computer generated?
Re: Stitching - The little Mermaid
This is really sweet. I like Ariel. I like Sebatian too.

Re: Stitching - The little Mermaid
I have taken the picture off the internet and put it through PC stitch at 200 colours!
Then edited it by hand to reduce it down to 125 colours.
I then printed out the pattern.
Most of the colours are just the outlines so I am stitching the pattern "loosely" and just doing the main colours. So the colour count will be even less when its finished. Its a real challenge but I think I can do it. I am going to put the outlines back in as over stitching/outline stitches. (term?)
Anyway it is being done on 14 count aidia cloth.
Each strand of cotton will be 3 strands.
I'll take a photo of the progress so far.... very soon

Ok here we go....
This shows the outline that pcstitch says to stitch that I am not going to. I am replacing the colours with the ":"
