Rose, I was only disappointed that I didn't take a photograph before the backstitching just to show how "alive" he looks compared to prior to the backstitching - and no I won't unpick it  :P

Tigger looks awesome and bouncy as ever :D And a great start on Pooh bear!

I would love to do a Winnie the Pooh series in cross stitch and put a typical quote each char says along the bottom :D (e.g. "T-I-double G-ER! That spells Tigger!" :D )

Yes I think I'll do Eeyore without grass. I'm thinking I may need to add grass onto Winnie as I miscalculated the centre of design (I think I may have counted the grass within the stitch count!!)

I think I'm going to enjoy this! :D :applesauce:

Just one question: erm... what's afghan? I think of Afghan hounds (who would object to being stitched, I feel!); and afghan blankets/coats (though I dunno what they look/feel like).

But afghan cross stitch fabric? :?

Fljotsdale, if you look in the glossary for the Fabrics and Threads message, there's soemthing about afghans in there.

Gave up on my Lifeguards Crest - it just didn't look right :-( Twiddled with the pattern a bit and eventually lost my rag!!! So back to my lurvly Winnie the Pooh afghan. Kym - if you want a loan of the pattern once I've done, please shout and I'll gladly send it on. It's all complete but a bit dog-eared, chewed and the back page (just the cover) is torn but I picked it up from the car boot for 10p so was too good a bargain to leave !!!

Mel xxx

PS. Will post piccie once Eeyore's done - just got to finish his muzzle, butterfly and back-stitch.
