Finished - YIPPEE!!! And just in time for Christmas!

Image

I actually finished it last night & then had a nightmare trying to get the smudge marks from a blue permanent marker out of the fabric! Managed to get most of it off using bodyspray & mouthwash - will put it through a wash to see if it gets the rest off but now you can only tell if you know where to look - luckily it all sort of blends in with the sea/clouds!

Now what's next..?

Well - I've decided to do a Dimensions Gold Petite one as it's one I attempted earlier this year - it was a failed attempt at getting back into xs - but that was before I found you guys!
It's called 'The Animals Came' - a Noah's Ark scene - I have a real thing about Noah's Ark and xs!

You did what?!! :o :o I'd be terrified of damaging my work. I'm really paranoid about cleaning it once it's done, knowing how many hours work have gone into it.

Anyway, your finished project looks lovely. You've done a great job.

Well done, it's lovely.
I know what you mean about some charts being awful to work with but at least the end result was worth it!
ps, the kitten is gorgeous and I'm sure will be a comfort to your mum.

Congratulations :D :D :applesauce: :applesauce:

I've always found it better to do a copy of a chart - I have a real issue with writing directly on charts!!

Glad it's all done and ready for Christmas.

Just to say - it's been thorugh the wash & the remaining marks have all faded so I'm grateful for that!
As for dousing it in bodyspray & mouthwash - I checked online first! It had to be done as the pen marks meant it was more or less ruined anyway so I had to do something to get them out! I got lucky I guess & learned a lesson - no more permanent markers!!!

Thank you all for your lovely comments! I am so glad to be back into stitching and this forum has made all the difference!
