Sarah's Japanese Koi FINISHED!

Post by Sarah Gixxer »

I thought I would start an SAL for this "secret" stitchery I've mentioned. I decided to work on this during the week and the Christmas sampler at weekends, that way I get two lovely projects to work on at once! I'm just greedy. And over excited about having so many nice things to stitch.

Anyway, I have done a small portion and realised Simon's phone takes much better close up pics than my camera so will use that from now on. Here's the first pic - lots of odd stitches in peaches, oranges, reds and yellows and the fabric is pale blue. It looks like nothing on earth at this point!

Hmmm, interesting ideas (and you're right, Steffers, it's not a powder coated XYZ frame  )

I did a bit more last night, but didn't have time to take a photo and load it, so I'll do that tonight. It's quite slow work as most of the colours are merged so there are loads of confetti stitches to do. The back of it isn't very tidy I'm afraid, threads going here there and everywhere!
