Thanx Mabel, but Wimblebees haven't got the shades i'm after, i got the ones i have from sew and so. I'm leaning towards snickerdoodles for autumn, i had english meadow or canadian goose in mind for it originally.
I've hardly got any of winter done the past couple of days, it is soooo dark and gloomy here!

I sat up til nearly midnight, armed with gauntlets and a scowl and with a growl ran at it and got a big chunk of the skirt done, including the bit i had to re-do... I bottled out of sitting up through the night to watch the results come in; OH is away so i have to be up super-early to give our puddy cat his insulin injection.

..i also found :cake: !! half a choccy swiss roll, abandoned & forgotten by all in the house, but me, ha! It did wonders for the humours...

Angel, the fabric is Sugar Maple and i got it from sewandso.co.uk

That looks great. You have made a fresh start of it and that is always good. I do love these patterns but I can see how it would not take much to go wrong. I will keep my :x: that all goes well to the end.
