Here's the next update - for once Monday at work was quiet (normally chaos) so I got quite a bit done - the upper right leaf and then started the cluster of larger leaves at the bottom.

This is growing so quickly! (I wish mine had grown this fast when I planted sunflower seeds as a child :-))

I grew a sunflower when I was a child too, Mabel. It took months but it eventually got over 10 feet tall. When the flower died my mum dried it, took out the seeds and I fed them to my pet mice!

If you can get this much stitching done at work I want your job. I'm lucky if I can get a 1/2 hour on my lunch break. Then when I get home my eyes are usually just too tired to stitch.

There's no backstitch in this, Louise, it's just nice easy whole crosses all the way! A lovely small project for me to do at work. When I finish this, I've a dreamcatcher lined up to do next.

Haha, yes, a dreamcatcher! It was a kit I got off ebay the other week - couldn't resist. It's not huge, mostly feathery bits along the top and a verse in backstitch. I thought I'd keep it to do at work when I've finished my sunflowers. They won't interfere with what I'm doing at home. I'm going to alternate the Xmas sampler and the Koi until I finish them and then start the HAED at Christmas. Oh, and stitch the Predator which I made up myself to give myself a break from that. And then I have to do a dolphin kit for Simon's Mum for June. And I still have some Xmas cards to do. Hehehehe.
