Great progress, Daz. Must be hard work stitching the blacks on black, but it's going to look brilliant when it's finished.

Daz, this is amazing! I'm sure that even though it's slow on the black, you'll feel encouraged as you see it develop. I feel excited seeing it appear!

It's going to look really effective when it's done, keep at it! don't be tempted to cheat and use all one "medium" shade of grey to fill in missing confetti bits... as I did when I was doing all the green grass bits in this.... http://www.abcstitch.com/optioncart/ima ... t=unicorns
Not sure if that will have worked, I've not tried posting a URL before, it's "Secret Garden" (unicorns) by Bucilla.

Thanks for your supportive comments, much appreciated as ever. However, there's been very little progress on Jimi over the past few days off work due to me suffering a very heavy cold.
It's very difficult to concentrate on my stitching when I'm having to stop for the sniffles every minute or so

I'm hoping to get some done this coming weekend.

Hope you soon feel better, Daz. Been there myself - felt diabolical the day I started my sunflowers and only managed to do about 10 stitches. Having your head down looking at your work makes your nose and eyes stream, doesn't it? Hope you shake it off quickly.
