Re: Grecian Urn
With apologies for the quality of the photograph, here it is framed:
The shadow on it is me!
And it actually looks lots better than the photo.

Well I think it looks lovely in the photo! So it must be absolutely stunning in 'real life'.
There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE!

Wow! That is stunning! Did you get it framed professionally or did you do it yourself??
You must be well chuffed with the result, know I would be!!!

Re: Grecian Urn
Thanks for your kind comments, everyone!
Just bought the frame from Wilkinsons - no credit to me at all! The frame doesn't really tone in that well with the fabric and Urn, but I'd searched for ages, and that was the best I could find; it was all right, but I wanted a better match, so I backed the fabric with dull yellow card, which improved the match significantly. I'll try to take a pic in a better light, and if I get one that is more like what it really looks like, I'll post it. I'm really hopeless with that camera. I wonder if reading the instruction book would help...

Re: Grecian Urn
Instruction books are overrated. Learn by doing! Or, if you're my parents, learn by getting your kids to learn by doing then getting them to explain it to you over the phone from 100 miles away! (My mum wanted to record a program and didn't know how to program the VCR we'd had for 10 years...)
