Quick update on hole-watch. Day 10 last friday, as promised the garden was re-seeded with grass (which has since been eaten by the birds) and the hole in the path was re-concreted. The Moron Pest chap who filled it asked my OH if we had a bit of wood to use as a baton to hold it in while it set, he replied 'have i hell! why haven't you got any?!' he then saw the chappy wander off and snap a couple of bits off a neighbour's fence! But now its done, finished, end of *phew*. Now we'll just have to wait 'n' see what transpires on the communal path when the hard freezes come.......Steve went and gave it all a good clean yesterday.....its got a big crack running down it....the water mains are directly underneath it

Got quite a bit of the gold on the skirt done, pics tomorrow

As always this pattern is just to beautiful and the fabric adds such depth and character to the final project. So great.

These are hand dyed fabrics right? What kind of washing can you do when you're done? You've inspired me to start looking at specialty fabrics. I was looking at some on ebay and the colors where just too splotchy. I'm worried about the colors running.

I got two big chunks done yesterday, the green in the gold swirls on the borrom right, and that chunk of purple down the middle. It's snowing here, again, a lot, only started about an hour ago and going by the radio the whole of Yorkieland is getting it.
(And i've reported that bod below this post, oil painting??!)

It's quite nice weather here today (so far!). Mabel's already reported them as well, so don't think they'll be hanging around for long!

Pennweng, i haven't had a go at washing this fabric, and it doesn't come with instructions, so i've no idea if it'll run or the shading run off. It might say on silkweavers site http://www.silkweaver.com
