Oops, I think that should have been mm not cm!!

I've worked out how many stitches your design can have to fit in this area (hopefully I've got this right - could someone check please  ).

14 count aida / 28 count evenweave fabric - 40 x 40 stitches
16 count aida / 32 count evenweave fabric - 45 x 45 stitches
18 count fabric - 50 x 50 stitches
22 count fabric - 62 x 62 (stitching over 1)
25 count fabric - 70 x 70 (stitching over 1)

and for Mabel
60 count fabric - 170 x 170 (stitching over 1)

Nothing special needed if you want to send them to me to make up - please just leave extra fabric around the edges so that I can use double sided tape to fix the design to the card.

I'm afraid I'm going to withdraw my original interest :-( -- what with finishing things that "have to be done" I would like to get round to a few of my "would really like to do" things before getting into another commitment *feels rather selfish  but tries to be honest about it, wondering if that makes it any better*

I absolutly agree we can't always join in everything that is going on. No need to have to explain or feel guilty you do so much on here you are entitled to skip one or two.

No costs Elaine. I've got the cards and cello bags already so it's not a problem at all.

Oh noes! I was thinking of doing some of the New Stitches elephants, but they are 41x41 stitches! I suppose I could leave out the border, or maybe move it in a stitch... :? Or in 16ct, of course.. :thinks:

I think they will fit Serinde!! I checked again, and if I use the square window I can just fit 42x42 stitches

Photo´s later when OH has time to download them. We have had so many problems lately with the electricity supply being very low which mean that the internet connection kept on failing that I have not been able to post much. I have not sent the stitching off yet as I wanted to be able to put photo´s on here. They are only small motif´s that take two hours each so that was why I managed to get them done quickly. I have not stitched Haoppy Birthday or anything because I thought that they could be used for anything.

Here is my contribution, just needs pressing :)

Having stitched it, I now find I haven't got any round or square aperture cards

Susan, can I send it to you for inserting into a card and cello and are you sure this is not going to be too much of a financial cost to you, cards-wise and also posting them all on to minij ? If it is ok, I can send it to you with the ATC when we send them out later in the month.

I love your design Mags - and it's no trouble at all to make it up into a card - just send it with your ATC as you suggested.

Serinde, will pm you my address.
