there are symbols just very hard to see in the squares..

and I also noticed that it seemed only one of the colors are scented!

tbh from what you have posted kinda puts me of i hate colour charts. i would have thought all the threads would have been scented.

I thought they was all scented too heh, bit lazy how they haven't put the name of the colours -.- lol

If there were more than one scented thread in the project you might get all the scents mixing into something less than fragrant

yeah i think any more than one color scented might be too much.

Well, I could imagine apple and cinnamon mixed together, or coffee with vanilla... There would be some nice smell combinations.

(actually, this is what I am doing for my christmas biscornu: I bought some apple and some cinnamon smelling granulate, I will mix them and put some in the middle of the filling)

I've never heard of scented thread before! That's really interesting. I wonder how long the scent lasts after you're done stitching it?

The design is cute too. Hope its not giving you too much trouble!

ok this is where i'm leaving this at..once i backstitch the 2 sweets.
The chart is not my favorite...as in how they do the symbols.

So anyway..i'll just backstitch and then give this to my daughter in a small frame..or something..lol

now off to do something fun!

I'm glad I did curb my curiosity on these though.

Oh and I've sniffed..been about 2 days since i've done what's pictures and not much of a smell at all.. very very faint.

It's a shame that you didn't like the kit that much, but what you've done is very cute, I'm sure your daughter will love it.

I know what you mean about those type of charts - the chart for my Chinese dragon is one of those horrible ones where it's coloured with symbols as well and you can hardly read the symbols. The lighter colours are ok, but there are several dark greens in it which are nearly impossible to decipher
