Looking gorgeous and nearly done! Looks like you'll finish by Tuesday as promised. I can't wait to see them all with the beads on, they'll make a stunning set.

Dutch cookies? GGGRRR. You might have made them on Saturday! Hehehe.

 That looks great wish I had the time and ability to sit and work like you do. I can only sit for about an hour then have to move or else the back gets to be a problem. Getting old I guess I used to be able to sit all day and stitch.

Definitely Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas) treats where I come from -- but I agree they taste great all year round :-)

Sinterklaas, i forgot this year. I've only been in Holland once on the proper day, we saw 6 saint Nick's & zwaarte Piet's (? spelt right M?) with white horses. Then we went back to a cousins house for boerenkoel (?) and smoked sausage, mmm..... and then there's my fave, hutspot.... Christmas always makes me think o' Dutch food. Olliebollen!! oh yay....

M, have an advocaat for me-ee, i haven't had chance to go back for 3 years..*sniff*

I'm not in the best of moods, stitching is finished, started the beads today and planned on getting them done today, oh-HO! not a chance, run out of the red ones. Packets of antique seed beads are half the weight/number of the regular beads, be warned folks. Irksome, it is :x :x

That is great!!!!! Have you finished the beads on the other ladies???? :thinks:

The last picture you show in the background there is a wonderful picture of candles. Did you stitch that one???? Is it one that you have showed us and I have just missed it??? Could you tell me where you got the pattern?????
