RE: Tall Order???

Post by madmoo0 »

i have a tall order for you all. I'm after a few things so sorry in advance...lol
1st- where can i find software to cross-stitch a logo, i've tried many places and they will work only on a photo. i don't have this only an attachment.
2nd- i need some ideas on a wedding sampler. my ex-sister in law is remarrying and she and her new hubby are into motorbikes and gothicy themes so i'm really struggling for ideas. They hate cute things(unlike me...lol) and can't find anything suitable.
Any help would greatly be received and if any one has anything, i'll gladly pay for postage and time.
3rd (& last) I am opening a campsite near Cardiff and its in a forest so an looking for charts of trees, squirrels and anything nature that can be made into magnets.
Ty to all who take the time to read even if you are not able to help.
God bless you all xxxxx

Welcome to the Forum, Madmoo
It's one of the nicest places around right now :!:
If you can't find help here it don't exist
You could try the link to New Stitches for pattern sources

http://stitchdirect.com/shopWebSite/php ... lu=110002M
http://stitchdirect.com/shopWebSite/php ... cts.php?pl ...

As for motor bikes, have a look at the Avid site, I think they have some but I haven't got the link to hand just now. Google should find it.

If you want to see some of my work have a look at my page
www.wendystitch.payrieres.eu
There is a link to our own web pages too. Or you could go direct to
www.payrieres.eu userword: guest , password:guest.

What about something from enchanting lair for a wedding sampler? They do fantasy stuff but also rather good minimalist dragons which you might modify. Their charts are not expensive. www.enchantinglair.com

For example:
www.enchantinglair.com/dragons/dragons.html

Welcome to the forum I hope we can help you with your needs.

The sites I have for mythical or gothic http://www.shinysunscrossstitching.com/index.html

http://www.twdesignworks.com/Designs/fs.html this one has a fantasy sampler, just scroll down and you can find it.

http://www.dragondreams.ca/BWD.html I want to do this one one day. I think he is georgeous and I'm not that much of a mythical fan.

The pattern making program that I have is PC Stitch Release 6 I have used it on attachments. I have to move the attachment to my personal gallery in my computer but once there it works just fine.

The magnet I don't have anything right off the top of my head but have you tried e-bay they have quite a bit of stitching stuff.

Good Luck and hope you stay with us and enjoy our company and help.
