Hi I'm Rachael I'm married with three children, I am mad about X stitching and craft, I have two large projects on the go at the moment and lots on my to do list I'll get around to them one day. Hope to hear from you all soon
Welcome!! I am also curious which projects you are working on! Hope you enjoy our little family, we know we like new members!! Hope to get to know you better.
I am currently doing two projects that are quite large, a Flower fairies giant chart and one called Renaissance lady , I have half finished the fairy one but i have become a little bored so i am doing all my little kits at the moment, just to do something different
I have more stash than my lifetime will support! At the moment, I'm trying to figure out what to take on holiday next week. Really can't take anything big or complicated, or my sister-in-law may feel that I would rather be somewhere else. Can't have that.
Hi Rachel, welcome to the forum. I haven't been stitching all that long, but have a stash already. When I browse through catalogues or shops online, my husband says 'But you haven't fnished the bell pull yet'.
Well, ER, next time ask DH why he's keeping those extra bits of wood in the garage. He will answer (I guarantee this) some variation on "It might come in handy." Yes? Well, there's no "might" about our stash. We only need the free time to get to it...
My House is being over run with X stitch items from magazines, books, threads, etc. My Husband says he's a stitch widower, but i'm sure i'm not that bad [/img]
Welcome to the forum from SW France. Looking forward to getting to know you.
I have a stash of gigantic proportions Lots of must do's a few started and lost interest too! Am currently gnashing my teeth over a piece of Hardanger and enjoying a large Poppy picture.
I smiled at the thought of asking DH about the wood, Serinde. When we moved out here to France he 'suggested' that I got rid of all the odd bits of wool and material as well as craft items to the local charity shop. I did so Grudgingly only to find when we moved here one large and Heavy box contained an assortment of off-cuts of WOOD WELL!!!
I do not admit to the stash now
Welcome Rachel, you'll find lots of friendly people and very good advice here, as I have done.
As for haveing lots of projects I would like to do, there are so many!!
Serinde, I hope you find a project you can do on holiday, and your'e sister-in-law., doesn't thinkl shes lost you behind yards of fabric anf thread. Enjoy yourself!!
Hello Thought I would find my original sign in, After meeting someone yesterday that I made friends with on this forum, I thought I would pop back, and see if any of the original people were still on here. Hello to all the people who have joined since
