Voting is over - HAED has been chosen!

Post by Jen2000 »

I have chosen my very first HAED project! It received a whopping zero votes! :D In the end, it came down to what I wanted to do. So! I will be doing the "Milady Blackberry" chart. It has been bought and downloaded and saved to my computer. I hope to get it printed out soon, but I won't be buying thread for at least a couple of weeks.

Hmm... okay. I will have to think really hard then on which chart to get. I am currently poor, but will eventually be able to get the colors needed. :D

Thank you for your help. :)

Usually the quick stitches or the story keeps tend to be cheaper than the regular sized charts. They can get a little pricey for bigger charts because you do have to buy the fabric and all the thread. I know I've spent nearly 30 dollars already on fabric and thread just for Catch a Falling Star and I am probably still going to need to buy at least another 30 or 40 skeins of thread, but on the upside, the large projects will most likely take you a long time to finish so when you spread the cost out over the course of say one year, then it's really not that bad.

Current WIP:
HAED Chessie-10,200 of 90,300 - 11%
HAED Catch a Falling Star-8,900 of 203,900 - 4%
HAED Wrath-46,630 of 240,000 - 19%

I see your point. When you put it like that, it much justifies the money I will probably spend in fabric and thread. :D

I have narrowed down to three charts. I need your guy's help!

Ohhh I really like Black Orchid Fairy (the first one)!

The second choice would be Milady Blackberry!

Great choices though, I can see why it would be so hard to choose!

I like the black orchid fairy, the best (the first one)! But the most important thing is that you love whatever design you choose, because you'll be stitching it for a long time.

I LOVE the Black Orchid Fairy - she'd be my first choice, followed by Purple Dragonfly and then Milady Blackberry. :)

I'm a purple lover too but out of the three you have there I'd go for the dragonfly one as well.

It would be Purple dragonfly for me, shes lovely. Your going to be stitching this for quite a while so choose carefully!

I love the Black Orchid one but its a lot of dark stitching and maybe hard on the eyes :)
