I have been looking for a forum for cross stitch for a while now, and I am very glad I have found this is one at last.
I live in Clarksville, TN. I am 45 years old and a stay at home wife and mother of 5; they range from 31 to 10 years of age. I gained 4 of them when I married my fantastic husband and we have had one together. I consider all of them mine. I have been stitching since I was 12, I was diagnosed as "hyper-active" and the doctor recommended my mother have me learn handcrafts to help me sit still and focus. I have passed the love on to my girls and hope to teach thier children when the time comes.

Just thought I would say to a fellow Tennessean. I'm from Knoxville and just found this site a week ago I have to say these ladies do some incredible work.

hello and welcome!! I also took up stitching when I got the chicken pox and I couldn't find anything to do..i was bouncing off the walls and my mom got a small kit for me..i had to stay home by myself and was soooo bored! i was around 12 or 13 lol
