ATC #6 Stitchy Stuff

So now that the mitten swap is winding down and the Friendship Swap is well on it's way to a conclusion in September. What do you think about another ATC Swap. I told Lacemaker I would organize this one since she is dealing with real life at the moment.

I was thinking that we could start this one up and the date for sending the cards out would be August 1st. Is that ok with everyone?????


I was also thinking that the theme for this one could be stitching motifis????

Threads, needles, thimbles, sewing machine, pin cushion.........

Are we ready for this or do we want to wait a bit longer and push back the finish date????? Let me know.

I'm up for this, but think I would prefer a later date as I may be a bit busy (Mum possibly having an op), but will go with whatever is decided.

I'd love to join in (it would be my 1st ATC!), but I couldn't commit to anything that had a deadline before the end of September as I have projects with deadlines before then.

For the Newbie there is a thread at the top part of this section it is titled "ATC Imformation" That should give you the information that you need.

The cards can be worked on any fabric and use any thread that you wish as long as the finished piece is no larger then 2.5 inX3.5 in. The finish is to be a card with the stitching on one size and the information of the stitcher on the back side. (If you look at the Community gallery you can see the cards from past rounds and also a couple of backs)

For this round we are going to go with a stitching theme and it looks as if the deadline will be pushed back to the end of August. I will ask that if you sign up that you remember that you have and remember the deadline for sending will be the last day of August.

Lets go ahead and start a list now and if you would like to start stitching now that is great but I will not set-up the send list until August so don't send anything to anyone until you are sure of the final list. I hope we can all have some fun with this they are really great to give and recieve.
