St Cross Stitcher's Ward

Auntie Serinde has been making beds (check out those hospital corners!) and plumping pillows all afternoon, to make our poorly peeps more comfortable. Hopefully, they will find the atmosphere conducive to stitching or watching the TV, or snoozing. The view from our lovely windows is whatever you want best to see.

Just like the Stash & Grab which, by the way, is just over there through those doors, anything that is legal, decent and honest can be obtained in the St Cross Stitcher's Ward. All TVs, iPods, choice of music, programming and all that kind of thing, not to mention excellent food (when you can bear the thought) is available at any hour, day or night. Of course, forum communication is simply the click of a mouse away.

You might not want to get well soon... :rose: :rose: :choc: :icecream: :tea: :coffee:

today it's a tad bit more settled.
my mind will be here in a comfy bed but sadly my body will have to go to work in 15 min. :(

ha! I can't believe we actually opened up a ward. Brillaint idea. I feel privilaged to have suggested the name.

I am currently resting my stitches ( body ones) by stitching a bright butterfly and have a coffee near me and the music is on.

Shortly, I will need to take my medicine :x :(

Then i will need :tea: and :cake: please nurse :)

I think I'll be able to leave the ward soon, leg is much better now only aches late on in the day.
I've just plumped my own pillows as I settle down to carry on with my HAED.

Thanks to the wonderful staff on this ward for all their care :applesauce: .

I feel I may have to join you all, but only for a few days I hope! As with pregnancy and the heat.... I have very swollen feet and ankles that are very painful. I have tried to rest them up a bit but it doesn't help. I think that I may have to spend the next 19 days or so with my feet high and my fingers stitching!

Can't focus at all on my stitching...and I have tons of things that are nearly completed that I desperately want to finish and/or make progress on, but I can't seem to sit still and work on anything for more than 5 minutes....oh the pain!!! Please kind nurses, do you have an ailment for me????

TT, I had that after I had my son because of all of the fluids I was given while I was in labor. I don't know if this would help now, but I wrapped my feet in a nice warm blanket (I know, not a nice thought in this hot weather). It helped to sweat out the extra fluids in my feet.
