Which way do you do half stitches?

My half stitches go from bottom left to top right, the same as the bottom of my full stitches.

I looked to see. My bottem stitch goes \ and the top part of the full cross goes over it in this direction /.
I seem to be backwards compared to most of you.
I'm not sure about my half stitches though. I assume I'd do the bottem stitch as usual, but I'd have to do some to check if that's right or not.

I do them like this ///////// which matches the bottom of my XXX. My tent stitches all point this way /// as well.

It depends on each individual pattern and what direction would be best for that pattern. Some I have even done in 2 different directions because it made the pattern look the best.

I'm of the same opinion as Rose. It's what ever the pattern calls for.
My bottom stitch goes / and the top half goes \ The designs I've stitched that had half cross stitches was for shading and they all said to stitch in the opposite direction to the top stitch on a X.

Rose--I stitch the same as you. I never conform well to the rest so why start now.
