Oh yeah serinde, I'm gonna have a pretty nice summer, mostly stitching, hiking, reading... ahhh. Then I'll get to see a bunch of family too.

Here's a little bookmark I made during the winter. I got the "pattern" for the deer from a Trader Joe's box of Pfeffernusse (hehe, I couldn't resist making it after seeing it). I still need more practice finishing bookmarks though... anyone have a favorite way?

No, it doesn't look like a swan in that picture to me. I was wondering that too but I found this other image (click here) of it that looks a bit more like a swan. It's also called the omega, lobster, or horseshoe nebula.

Has anyone tried putting glue on a finished design to stiffen it? I was wondering what would happen so I tried it on a small piece of leftover fabric after I stitched a little design on it.
