I was going to join anyway (honest) as I have been looking at my special Christmas Ornament issues of Gift of Stitching. The cross stitch mojo had deserted me in favour of the hardanger afghan but now it's back.

My current afghan is Anne cloth - 18count. I have changed nos. 5 and 8 perles for nos. 3 and 5 and it covers well.

My current afghan project of the "Round" series is coming along nicely, the colour scheme is autumnal.

For anyone thinking of trying hardanger on afghan have a go. I thought the cut ...

Worth the wait Mabel - it's stunning.

:thinks: Probably going to stay with hardanger and stitch Mabels 'Round the World' sets on the cream afghan I've had in stash for years. I got 4 sets for stashmas from Evedeve (thank you again) and need the other 2. I've also got Autumn Wreath, Flora and then a few smalls for coasters. Nope :lol ...

A bit sad seeing the 'last' designs.

Nothing to add to everything Wendy and Carole have said except a huge thankyou Mabel for doing the SAL. I would never have had the confidence to try hardanger on my own. Looking forward to 2015.
