And another issue is stitching a picture - how does the copyright work if you take a picture and transfer it into a pattern? In my opinion it's what called copying design work, i.e. breach of copyright, but maybe I'm wrong?

I once heard of using a special silver pencil, that is easy to see on both black and white aida, but I never came across one I badly need it for one of the projects, so if anyone knows where to get it, I'd be rally grateful
