Re: Need help with pattern
Oddly, as I'm not one to stitch stockings, I have this one in my stash. Probably a result of inheriting from various family who no longer stitch
If you tell me which area is damaged I can try to get you the info.

Re: Neat backs
My backs end up pretty neat not as a goal but more because it fits with my personality. I tend to be logical and orderly so I stitch in rows left to right with the first leg of the cross and back for the second leg and starting with the loop method. Pictures of parking always looks chaotic to me but ...

Re: Confessions of a Cross Stitcher
I love these but just realized I've never posted here.
1. I am incapable of having a messy back.
2. Seriously, I can only stitch neatly.
3. I get twitchy :tizzy: if I need to use an uneven number of threads and can’t use the loop start method.
4. Oddly I don’t mind mistakes, frogging :ribbit: and ...

Re: How do you transport WIPs while on-the-go?
I tried the DMC Stitch Bow years ago and found I didn't like them. I wasn't able to find a easy way to secure the end of the floss on the bows and while they were in small pockets for storing when I stitch I leave the floss on the table beside me while I work on that color. The floss unraveled quite ...

Re: Prairie Schooler Santa
I love the Prairie Schooler Santa's and have every year since, I think, the beginning (1984). My mother got me started and I've looked forward to the new pattern every summer for many years now. I've done two (self & sister) a bell pull with some of mine. When my husband's grandmother was moved out ...

Chrismons pattern
I'm looking for a copy of "Heirloom Chrismon Ornaments". It appears to be out of print. If anyone has a copy they are no longer using and are willing to part with I'd very much like it. I'll pay for the pattern and shipping. Thanks.

O Holy Night Nativity - Supplies?
I am going to get O Holy Night Nativity by Stoney Creek for my next project. I noticed somewhere there are a few supplies needed besides the basic floss. I'd like to order everything together. Does anyone have this pattern and know what extras I would need along with the amounts? I saw beads ...

Looking for name and/or designer
Hi I'm new here and looking for a little help.
I purchased a cross stitch pattern many years ago. When I went looking for it early this summer it seems to have disappeared and I can't remember either the name or designer. The cover has I believe a blue background and two (maybe more) projects. One ...
