I have stitched many kits and never run out before either!
The particular kits I stitch use several strands at once for texture effect so they must have just underestimated!
Oh well, guess I will just have to wait the 6 weeks it takes for some more to come, I don't dare try a conversion chart again!

Last year I did the Dimensions 'galloping horses' and kept running out of the same thread, each time I would email the company in America and get sent a small amount of thread which would not be sufficient. I think I did this 3 times.

And now I am almost at the end of Dimensions 'Brilliant ...

I have tried to answer on this thread three times now and it keeps on disappearing, no idea why but will now try again. I have Mr Men charts and if he would like them I would happily turn them into a kit for him, and post them to him.

My son is always asking to do some stitching as he sees me doing it - he has done some simple stitching on aida with my left overs but he would love to do a design!

no fractionals - pretty straightforward actually and nice detail. Need to practice those french knots though!

Couldn't resist an update - one month in and still loads to do! haven't tackled any of the french knots yet and there are loads representing spray from the hooves!

I have been using these for about a week and I love the drum tight tension I get on the fabric, but I have noticed a couple of pulls on the aida where the q snaps have caught the material.
So either I am taking them off wrong - they fit quite tight, do you slide them off or pull them off?
