Blackwork always looks fabulous, whether black or coloured. I haven't done a great of it, only a few small projects, but I love it.

Oh, I like those! Good job on the completed one - it's much better to adapt to something you prefer, than to end up with something you are not happy with. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the set completed!

Here it is. Not the whole of it, just the bit with birds on it. You are seeing it as it actually is. That foggy, out of focus look is just how it is, close to. It looks better at a distance ...

Hi, Reta Yes it certainly is a pain, and the older you get the more of a pain it is to learn new tech! But, hey - it helps to keep these old grey cells working! I'm going to use a mouse as soon as I don't need it any more in my old comp.

Here I am again; but this time via laptop. :D I'm still learning to use Windows8. It's very different from WinXP. It might be a bit easier if this was touch screen, but I foolishly thought that would be more difficult :roll: Plus, I'm not yet comfy with using a touchpad rather than a mouse.

Sorry you have a nasty cold, too, Fizzvw :hug: :hug: My eldest texted me yesterday to say she was 'quite poorly' with a virus, so we sympathised with each other. There seems to be a nasty little bug flourishing all over the UK at the moment ...

Oh! So glad the surgery went well! :hug: and you are able to stitch again.

Chances are the little finger will gradually come back to normal - the nerve feeding it probably got slightly damaged or bruised and it needs time to recover. Bruising heals quite quickly, but actual damage takes longer ...
