Someone came up with a way to make the hobby just a little more smile on the face. It does add a colorful twist to the bobbins.

I'm using Sulky metallic threads. Cost a bit extra but for less aggravation it doesn't break down/shred and is tough as nails holding up. Well worth it and looks super.

the 100 stitches per cm2 works out to 25ct fabric, did you use tenting or full cross? just curious.

I searched more online, that's when I found the video. He is computer savvy cause he designed the Napoleon stitch work, so I'm sure there's a way to contact him. Will take some time tho. It would be great to have him on here ...

It's great you have your daughter interested to share the craft. Teach her well, she'll cherish the memories. I was surprised when I visited my uncle and he finished a Marylin Monroe and made the frame in his wood shop. He shared his experience in the hobby. I learned a lot.
